We are open all week except Mondays and Sunday evenings, serving lunch from 12pm till 2pm, and dinner from 6.30pm until 8.30pm. Our Sun Lounge is open for coffees and pastries each morning from 10.00am to 11.30am and we serve afternoon cream teas between 3pm and 5pm, perfect for a relaxed meeting or catch-up with friends.

We offer two dining options at The Cliff House; our laid-back Sun Lounge with breathtaking views across the Solent, and the beautifully decorated Bay Restaurant. We also have a choice of two menus, A La Carte or Daily Specials.

All food served at the Cliff House is responsibly sourced, we plan very carefully to ensure all food is exceptionally fresh, and purchase ingredients, wherever possible, from local growers and suppliers. We even forage many of our ingredients from the Dorset coastline (Studland Bay is a particularly excellent foraging ground) and work hard to use these ingredients to surprise, impress, and delight. We are passionate about producing good food and we want you to love our food too – that’s why we go the extra mile to create truly excellent dishes.

Our terrace area is perfect for a balmy summer evening’s al fresco dining. After your meal, enjoy a drink by our outside log fire and, on a clear night, spectacular views of the moonlit Solent, jumpers and cardigans recommended!

The renowned Cliff House Sunday Lunch is served between 12pm and 2.00pm. Tables are booked weeks in advance for our Sunday Lunches so booking is highly recommended.
