Like the idea of hearing the waves lapping the shore as you drift off to sleep? Then you need to stay with us!
We have six individually designed en-suite rooms, named in celebration of our hotel’s location and maritime heritage – Dover, Wight, Portland, Plymouth, Biscay and Thames.
All rooms have the usual facilities you would expect; en suite, tea and coffee, homemade shortbread biscuits, bottled water, free Wifi and a hair dryer. Some rooms have a bath as well as a shower, if you fancy one, just check upon booking.
Kick start your stay with us as you mean to go on, sit down in the bar and have a cup of tea or coffee on us and get ready to relax. Our room rates include a selection of delicious continental and cooked breakfasts, enjoyed with those stunning views of the sea.
Our rooms
Wight
Wight has double aspect windows; make the most of your South Coast stay by waking up to The Needles and The Isle of Wight. Wight’s en-suite bathroom contains a bath and shower.
Plymouth
Plymouth also has two windows with magnificent sea views, this room is beautifully decorated with white wooden furniture and is a favourite with regular guests. The bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower.
Portland
Portland has a king sized double bed and excellent sea views, the en-suite bathroom has a shower.
Dover
Dover is our largest room and en-suite. This room contains twin beds that can be made into a generous double, side sea views, and a bath and shower.
Thames
Thames is a single room which is light and airy with an en-suite shower room.
Biscay
Biscay is a light and airy room which can be set as a twin or double - just let us know upon booking. This room is on the ground floor and is fully accessible. As one of our dog friendly rooms, Biscay is entered through it’s own front door, making it a perfect room to pop out early for a dog walk.
Ashtree House
Situated a ten-minute walk from The Cliff House and just five minutes from the beach is Ashtree House. Sleeping up to 6 people (5 adults), across three bedrooms with a cosy living room, kitchen diner and sun trapped garden it’s the perfect place to unwind with your friends and family.
